Range Hood Advice

After reading a lot of info here about range hoods, I think I want a 42" hood on top of my 36" range. We do a lot of spicy/smokey cooking, so I need high CFM low noise solution. I am leaning towards an inline blower with silencer. I can buy blower and silencer from fantech. That leaves me with just the hood. I am looking for a chimney style with baffles. I am not finding much choice. ModernAire appears to have what I want but is expensive. Z-line designer series may be an option but I just want simple stainless look and not wood. ProLine hoods would be perfect but the negative comments here makes me nervous. Any advice on where to look is much appreciated.
