wolf 42” hood w/ 1200 CFM remote blower?

Hi all, Merry Christmas!
New build question here. We are planning to get a wolf 36” induction cooktop with a large custom hood cover (60”) that houses a wolf 42” liner. We are Asian so do a lot of wok cooking, and I also like to do reverse seared steak on cast iron that generates a ton of smoke for 6 min or so. We were thinking a high CFM blower ~1000. Is 1200 CFM overkill or they have a 900 CFM version also? The duct run would be short - up about 2 feet and 90 deg turn straight out the back wall. Thinking of using remote blower to reduce noise. The wolf rep originally recommended 600 CFM internal blower based on their calculator but we felt that isn’t high enough … thoughts and suggestions from Houzz experts?
