Support beam inquiry - something thin and flat? Empty Support beam inquiry - something thin and flat?

Fri Apr 28, 2023 6:27 am
Attached is a photo of the underside of the front entry shed roof. We removed the drop ceiling and plan to replace it with beadboard that will lay flat against the beams that run left to right in the attached picture (the shorter support beams that are directly against the roof), to maximize the space between the top of the front door and the ceiling of the shed roof.

The 2x4 marked as 2 can be removed without issue. The 2x4s marked as 1 we would like to replace with something thin and flat/low profile (maybe metal?) that could be attached to the underside of the shed roof and take up little or no space. The idea is that it would add support but not get in the way of installing the beadboard basically directly against the underside of the shed roof. Does anyone know of something that could accomplish that? บาคาร่าออนไลน์UFABET
