Porch Design/Curb Appeal

I need to add some curb appeal to our home but dont know where to start. Im thinking a updated craftsman style front door, a porch with a metal roof and sqaure pillars and maybe a cordinating metal roof piece over the window that has the teal shade?? I also had thought of an open gazebo attached to the porch but am not sure if there is enough room and it would look overdone. Any ideas or especially visuals would be wonderful.
