Women in China angered over female parking spots

Women throughout China have voiced their anger on social media about extra wide female-designated parking spots that are meant to help women who have difficulty parking in reverse. The spots, which are located in the eastern Chinese city of Hanghzhou, feature pink lines and a female icon painted on the ground and are about 1.5 times larger than normal parking spots. While many on social media said the idea of female parking spots was patronizing and sexist, others said women weren't being forced to use them but were only being offered for those who don't feel confident with reverse parking.
