Best GPU for Total War 2023

Hey! I tried to search for an answer but couldn't find one, I'm not very good at scouring for info. :3

I was planning to go team red and switch to a 7900 XTX from my RTX 3080, but then I noticed there can be a disparity between the 4080 and 7900 on who has the most FPS depending on the game. I'm wondering now what might be the better GPU when it comes to games like Total War and other strategy/real-time tactics games which I predominantly play. Otherwise it's only RPGs like Baldur's Gate 3.
