Cleaning insides of computer

Hey all. We had a house fire last week and our computers were inside but look to be salvageable. The thing is the sides were off of them and the soot/smoke has seem to be coating a lot of the stuff inside. I don't wanna turn them on yet. I want to take them apart and clean. Was wondering if there is some kind of solution that I can use to clean everything up. I've seen people use some kind of solution but don't know what it is. I'm really hoping I can do something.
